The base model Fire TV Stick costs $39, while the 4K-capable model is priced at $49. The Fire TV Stick isn't the only streaming device in Amazon's lineup, but it's popular for its low cost. You can also do this through Alexa on an Amazon Echo, if you're too lazy to get the remote from the other side of the couch. The remote even has Alexa built-in, allowing you to press a button and ask the virtual assistant to bring up your favorite show, pause or rewind playback, and find movies with certain actors in them. If you're familiar with the Apple TV or Roku, the Fire Stick is very similar-but it's manufactured by Amazon, with tight integrations for Amazon services like Prime Video.
